Podcast: Dealing With Motown's Foreclosure Tsunami

Adding to the labyrinth of challenges confronting Detroit, the nationwide foreclosure crisis has hit the city so bad that it has led the nation in foreclosures for a few years.  This has led to abandonment, delapidated neighborhoods and residents wrenching their hands hoping for a solution. However, the city's Office of Foreclosure Prevention and Response was formed in 2008 to help the city turn a corner, slow down the number of foreclosures and keep people in their homes.

Diane McCloskey, the agency's  Director of Community Initiatives explained to TIME what her organization is doing to make those changes.
