Real News -- and a Good Joke

Mayor Dave Bing got the wrecking ball swinging Thursday, starting the demolition of those 3,000 homes he mentioned in his State of the City address.

Great multimedia presentation from The Detroit News of the first structure being torn down. This is not a joke! This is really happening, and I think it bodes well for the city. Clean up those blighted buildings, and get the move on toward a better Detroit.

And for those who do love a good April Fool's joke...
