    Fun Darryll!

But I'm going to stick with my deceased wife who sang backup to Mahalia at Carnegie hall and didn't realize that it was important.

When she sang for the kids at dinnertime it was unbelievable.

And hearing that she went to a women's singing gathering, two weeks before she was killed, and went up to a woman and said, "I know you.... I know you..." and the woman turned and said, "Why Glenda Ann Maull from Virginia Park, I'm Martha Reeves!"

Imagine the hoots and screams! And they sang some oldies for the girls.

Anybody have a copy of the Voices of the Mighty Tabernacle on that Tour?

Don't mean to take anything away from Aretha and wish her happy birthday and it seems that both women were of the same age.

What I failed to mention about Glenda Ann was that for many years she was the voice of Preservation Wayne and People for Downtown Hudsons.

She cared about preservation and Marilyn Florek, at the 30th anniversary celebration mentioned that we were like Mother and Father or big brother and sister to the fledgling groups.
